Disability Resource Center
About the DRC
The Mission of the Disability Resource Center (DRC) is to facilitate equal access and inclusion of students with disabilities at Salt Lake Community College, and to empower students to become self-advocates. This is accomplished by:
- Providing reasonable, appropriate, and timely accommodations as required under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
- Providing college-wide advisement and consultation to promote an understanding of disability perspectives and universal design.
- Developing ongoing relationships through a framework of mutual understanding and respect with students, administrators, faculty, staff, and community partners to foster an inclusive environment for students with disabilities at SLCC.
In order to receive accommodations under the ADA,
schedule an appointment with an Accessibility Advisor
and apply for services through the DRC.
