due to a funeral for one of our advisors.

Also, there may be limited advisors available after the funeral from 2:00PM until 8:00PM.

Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to develop an interactive, informative, and supportive environment where all students can access resources, explore, plan, make decisions, and evaluate their academic and career goals.  Students visit with an advisor for several reasons.  The most frequent reasons are to:

Creating an educational plan and/or set up a class schedule

Identifying the courses needed toward graduation

Getting started at SLCC

Obtaining transfer information

Reviewing academic progress

Refer students to resources available at the College and the community

Advising is also available to answer frequently asked questions about employment opportunities, financial aid, student involvement, and activities.
