What does the MYERS-BRIGGS (MBTI) CAREER ASSESSMENT Provide?

Assessment Instructions

1. Complete the assessment when you are relaxed and comfortable.
2. Give yourself plenty of time. Plan for about one hour without interruptions. Your results may become skewed if you feel rushed.
3. Try not to ponder the questions; make your choice based on your firs reaction. This assessment identifies your "innate" preferences.
4. Take off your work, spouse, and/or parent "hat"; make your selection without thinking about "who" you think you should be.
5. If you can not make a decision on a choice, skip it. This assessment is a sorting mechanism, not a measurement tool. Skipping a question or two will not affect your type preference.
6. There is no pass/fail mechanism on the MBTI.

Tell them that you want to buy one of the following from Career Advising:

a)         MBTI on-line  (personality type assessment) plus the Strong Interest                        Inventory $40.00

         
OR
b)         MBTI on-line stand alone $25.00

OR
c)        CISS (interest profiler) $25.00

Provide your Credit Card Information.

Obtain and save your authorization number; you will need it for the item below**

Go on-line to http://online.cpp.com


Login: (case sensitive) exploring
Password: (case sensitive) success


User ID: This is configured for you upon completion of your first assessment. No need to enter data here (unless you are returning to resume or take a different assessment). 


Click on: “Take It”


Complete the test and click on the “Done” button.


*Please write down the ID number you are given upon completion of your first assessment.  This will allow you to resume and/or take additional assessments using the same client ID.


Finally click on the “I’m Done” button.


Exit the web site.
