Faculty Early Alert

Early Alert Form
The Academic Advising Office monitors the Early Alert system.  This system serves as the means to connect students with support services necessary to encourage their potential success.  Since the faculty see the students’ progress during the semester they help identify the students who appear to be having difficulty in a class.
We recommend that faculty first attempt to contact the student since you are the best resource for how students can be successful in your course.  If there hasn't been a change in the student performance or feel that contact from Advising would also be beneficial, use the Early Alert system.
To inform Academic Advising about students, please use the Early Alert form at the above link.  Send the completed form to: rebecca.broadbent@slcc.edu with “Early Alert” in the subject line.  You may also drop it off at the Redwood Student Center, room 240 or send it by campus mail to STC 240.
