Bruin Club

Salt Lake Community College Athletics has been and will continue to be a source of pride for our school and community. The major reason for the accomplishments of our student-athletes is another team - the Bruin Club donors. Your donations to the Bruin Athletic Scholarship Fund allow SLCC student-athletes an opportunity to pursue athletic and academic excellence.


SALT LAKE CITY (October 17, 2007)- The NJCAA released new Division I rankings for the 2007 season and the Salt Lake CC Bruins have jumped one spot to No. 1, this is the first time a Salt Lake CC team has been ranked No. 1 nationally. Salt Lake CC is on a 21 game win streak, there last loss was to No. 5 Western Nebraska.  Salt Lake is led by Misa Hanakova who currently ranks in the top 25 in the nation in hitting efficiency (47.37) and assists (10.59).  As a team Salt Lake leads the SWAC conference in hitting percentage (.297), assists (13.52), kills (14.62) and service aces (3.01).No. 1 Salt Lake CC takes on North Idaho CC October 19th at 7pm and No. 8 College of Southern Idaho October 20th at 3 pm.
