To get a job in the automotive industry, or any industry for that matter, you need to talk to the person that hires. Many times the owner of the company does not do the hiring. Knowing where to go for an employment interview is very important. In an effort to pave your way to a good job I have contacted several employers and explained our program to them. I have suggested to them that my students will be contacting them for current and future employment.
Do not pin your employment hopes on one contact. Instead, contact all the employers you can. Remember to obtain and complete an employment application prior to your interview, then call for an interview appointment.
