Course Title

AutoCAD®/AutoCAD LT Essentials

This course is designed for the new AutoCAD®  or LT user who requires comprehensive training in AutoCAD. It incorporates the features, commands, and techniques for creating, editing, and printing drawings with AutoCAD 2007 Hands-on exercises, both onscreen and printed in the Exercise Workbook, explore how to create 2D production drawings

AutoCAD® Intermediate

This course is designed for the experienced AutoCAD® user who requires additional training. It incorporates the features, commands, and techniques for becoming more productive when creating, annotating, and printing drawings with AutoCAD 2006. This intermediate-level course continues to build on the basic concepts of the AutoCAD 2007 Essentials course.

AutoCAD® Advanced

This course incorporates the features, commands, and techniques for managing files, creating consistent drawings, connecting to external databases, and customizing AutoCAD 2007. This advanced-level course continues to build on the concepts of the AutoCAD 2007 Essentials and AutoCAD 2006 Intermediate courses.

AutoCAD® Update

This course provides a thorough understanding of the new and enhanced features offered in AutoCAD® 2006. Using the new Dynamic Input capabilities, you will learn techniques to become more productive and to access design tools faster. You will also learn about Dynamic Blocks and how to include parameters and actions in block creation to reduce the number of blocks in your library and make them more intelligent. Hands-on exercises throughout the courseware explore enhancements for working with tables, tools for hatching, drafting, and documentation.

Autodesk Land Desktop

This hands-on foundation-level course covers the essentials of Autodesk® Land Desktop 2006 software: the key features, how to create a survey plan and a topographic survey drawing, and how to lay out roadways and subdivision lots. In this course, students use Autodesk Land Desktop 2006 software to perform land development activities for a sample project, the Portsmouth Heights Subdivision—Phase II.

Autodesk Map 3D Essentials

This course is designed to enable new users to learn most features and functions of Autodesk Map® 3D software to create, manage, and analyze mapping data. Topics considered fundamental to using Autodesk Map 3D software are covered in depth. Advanced features are covered, and depending on the need of each user, can be approached as an introduction or can be followed for a more comprehensive understanding.

Autodesk Inventor Essentials

This hands-on foundation course covers the basic Autodesk Inventor features used to create, edit, document, and print parts or assemblies. Students learn about basic features by referencing print documentation and using real-world exercises. This course is designed for students to learn the basics of mechanical 3D computer-aided design using Autodesk Inventor. Students learn how to navigate the gesture-based user interface and receive overviews of the basic sketching, part-modeling, and assembly-modeling techniques. The course also includes a general review of the tools used for creating mechanical drawings.

Autodesk Inventor Intermediate

This course builds on the basic concepts of the Autodesk Inventor Essentials course. This material focuses on features, tools, and techniques that make students productive with Autodesk Inventor 11 in the shortest possible time. The topics of this course are complex sketching and constraining, complex part modeling, complex drawing views, and complex assembly modeling.

Autodesk Inventor Professional Essentials

This hands-on course covers the basic features of Autodesk Inventor® Professional 11 features. The student will learn about Tubing and Piping, Cable and Harness, and Stress Analysis.

Autodesk Vault Essentials

This courseware provides a hands-on foundation covering all features in Autodesk® Vault 5 for managing files and projects with Autodesk Inventor® 11 and AutoCAD® Mechanical 2007. Topics include the organization and sharing of files, version management, multi-user environments, integration with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical design management tools, and the installation and management of Autodesk Vault.

Autodesk Mechanical Essentials

This course incorporates the features, commands, and techniques for creating and editing mechanical designs with AutoCAD Mechanical 2007. Hands-on exercises throughout the course enable students to practice creating mechanical engineering production drawings.

Autodesk Electrical Essentials (IEC Standard)

This hands-on course focuses on how to build intelligent ladder diagrams and panel layouts, and how to leverage this intelligence. The course provides an overview of many AutoCAD Electrical utilities designed to enable users to quickly build and manage electrical-controls drawings. Hands-on exercises throughout the course explore how to create electrical-controls production drawings.

Architectural Desktop Essentials

This course incorporates the features, commands, and techniques for creating, editing, and printing drawings with Autodesk® Architectural Desktop 2006. Hands-on exercises throughout the course explore how to create architectural drawings.
