Car Repairs at SLCC

Beginning August 28, the automotive department will offer car repairs to faculty, staff and students at the Miller Campus (9750 S. 300 W.) Repairs are provided for the cost of parts plus a small shop fee. The department also has its own NAPA Auto Parts store and can order parts at very competitive prices. The following services are available:

Electrical - Locks, windows, mirrors, alternators, starters, heater and A/C electrical controls, air bags, etc. 

Brakes - Pads, rotors, shoes, calipers, wheel bearings, and etc. Available August 28 - October 5.

Suspension - Power steering, shocks, struts, springs, tie-rods, rack and pinion, tire balancing, steering, suspension. October 18 - December 6.

Engine - Overheating problems, radiators, hoses, timing belt, water pump replacement. Head gasket replacement available after September 15.

Engine Diagnostics - Check Engine Light repairs.  For cars from 1996 or newer.

Auto Body and Painting - Call for availability.

Outdoor Equipment - Repair for small engines including motorcycles, lawn mowers, off road small engine vehicles and water craft.
