Information for Faculty
The 2016 Commencement will be held on Friday, May 6.
We will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the procession of faculty, graduates, administrators, dignitaries and honored guests.
The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m., and will run approximately two hours.
All Faculty, regardless of permanent or temporary physical disabilities are encouraged to participate in Commencement. ASL interpreters and open-captioning services will be provided during the ceremony. Other accommodations will be made upon request. The Maverik Center (ceremony site) is wheel chair accessible from the South parking lot through the VIP Main Entrance. The drop-off area is located in front of the building near the Main Entrance.
The Maverik Center recognizes the needs of guests with disabilities, as defined by the American Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. Maverik Center continues to make every effort to comply with state and federal accessibility regulations and accommodate guests with disabilities.
Due to safety regulations, all aisles in the arena must be kept clear of children, strollers, wheelchairs and all other obstacles during the ceremony.
