| Shirene Bell began teaching communication over thirty years ago. She has taught at the University of Utah, Brigham Young University, Utah Valley State College, and in the Southern California educational system. She also teaches in corporate settings and has presented nationwide, pioneered computer-interactive training programs for AT&T, written speeches for Congress in Washington, D.C., and trained organizational leadership. Currently, she is working on her PhD in Communication at the University of Utah. Some of her recent research focuses on trust in global organizations, and psychologically healthy workplaces. Her international living experiences in Africa, Asia and Europe give her insight into diversity communication. Shirene's adventuresome spirit has taken her hang-gliding, sky-diving, sail-planing and ballooning. In her spare time, she teaches the harp and yearns for some sunny beach time. Back to Faculty List |
