Salt Lake Community College, College Day is a chance for high school students to become familiar with the SLCC campus, learn new art skills from a selected group of visual art experts, and meet people with similar interests and skills. Workshops vary from painting to photography to digital media. The College Day Workshops are open to all high school students that are registered in a visual arts class, and have instructor approval. Registration is $12 and covers lunch and supplies. An orientation and campus tour will begin at 8:00 am, followed by an art workshop at 9:40 am, and lunch at 12:45 pm.
Below are samples of student work that was produced during last year's workshops.
