CE@SLCC Spring Classes Announcement
Registration for CE@SLCC Spring semester classes is now closed.
What is CE @ SLCC?
CE@SLCC program offers high school students, from participating high schools, the opportunity to take evening concurrent enrollment courses on the SLCC campuses. These courses are designed to give students an authentic college experience. The courses are college courses, taught by college instructors, with traditional college students in attendance. The concurrent enrollment program is given seats in these courses and we fill these seats with our eligible high school students. Participating students receive both college and high school credit for the courses offered through CE@SLCC.
Most often, the instructors for these courses are aware they are teaching a blended course, meaning both high school and college students, but they are not aware of who is in high school and who isn’t. These courses offer students the opportunity to navigate a college campus, interact with instructors and students in a college classroom, and understand how a college course is taught . . . all of which contribute to providing an authentic college experience.
The CE@SLCC program offers 20+ courses during Fall and Spring semesters, each courses has 5-15 concurrent enrollment seats available.
