However, due to the limited number of seats, we cannot guarantee that students will be able to get more than one of their requested classes.

CE@SLCC Frequently Asked Questions
Why didn't I get more than one class?
The purpose of our program is to give as many students as possible the opportunity to experience an on-campus class and to encourage them to set goals to continue their college education after they graduate from high school. CE@SLCC is very popular and seating is limited. If you need a class that you did not receive, consider taking the class through Early Enrollment or requesting a class for a different semester through CE@SLCC.
If I’m graduating from high school this spring, may I take CE@SLCC classes in the summer?
No. Once you graduate from high school you are considered a traditional college student and no longer qualify for Concurrent Enrollment.
I’m a sophomore right now (September-May); may I take CE@SLCC classes this summer?
Yes. Your junior year begins the summer after you complete 10th grade.
If I attended a CE@SLCC information meeting a previous semester, do I need to do so again?
No. If you attended a CE@SLCC information meeting a previous semester the application form for the next semester will been sent to the e-mail address you gave us when you attended the meeting.
What if I can't get the class I want?
CE@SLCC classes are limited by days, times and class sections. Students wishing to attend classes at other times must apply for Early Enrollment, by the deadline, and pay tuition.
What’s the difference between CE@SLCC and Early Enrollment?
CE@SLCC offers a limited selection of classes to high school students, and tuition is not charged. Early Enrollment allows approved high school students to pay tuition to take any classes they qualify for on-campus. Both programs require separate forms.
