8-Hour HAZWOPER Annual Refresher Training

Cost:  $100 per person

Why the need for Training?
Federal rule 29 CFR 1910.120(e) and (q) require training within one year of the initial or lst refresher course completion to maintain compliance.

Course Information
This course is an eight-hour program that updates HAZWOPER certification for all personnel working on or at a hazardous waste site (including TSD Personnel) and all levels of emergency responders.  In addition to reviewing key topics from the HAZWOPER courses, this course strongly emphasizes new developments and information.

Interactive exercises are designed to enable students to demonstrate the retention of knowledge or skills attained in this course.  Group discussions, as well as hands on scenarios, will be utilized during the course.

Time:  8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m.

40-Hour HAZWOPER Training

Cost: $695 per person

Why the need for training?
HAZWOPER courses are designed for those who need training and certification to work at a hazardous waste site (CERCLA, RCRA or state or local government sites) or who re involved in emergency response due to leaks, spill accidents or fires involving hazardous waste or hazardous materials.

Course Information
Our program provides aid to employers in obtaining and maintaining the required level of employee training for those employees with potential exposure to hazardous chemicals in strict accordance with the requirements of Federal Rule 29 CFR Part 1910.120(e).

HAZWOPER courses focus on recognizing site hazards, use of personal protective equipment, safe work practices, use of engineering controls, medical surveillance, monitoring methods, site communication, site control, decontamination, emergency response, confined space and spill containment.
