National Certified Pool Operator - Registered Pool Operator in Utah

The Certified Pool Operator 1.5-day course provides Registered Pool Operator (RPO) training as required by the Utah Department of Health. This comprehensive training program covers skills such as pool and spa chemistry, testing, treatment, filtration, maintenance and automatic feeding equipment. It also addresses state and county codes as well as other governmental requirements.

Participants must pass an examination administered at the end of the training to receive their certification. The certification is valid for five years. Students who need to re-certify must attend the second day refresher course prior to the expiration of your certification, and pass the exam. The course fee includes the Pool & Spa Operator Handbook produced and published by the National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF). This is a valuable resource and reference book for both the novice and the professional who must trouble shoot on a broad spectrum of functional problems.
