Travel Planner

This well-rounded career program is designed to prepare students for the travel and tourism industry, including: travel agencies, cruise lines, transportation companies, resorts and hotels, tourism companies, and corporate travel departments. The certificate program consists of 14 internet based courses. Students may enroll in individual courses to increase their skills and knowledge in areas of specific interest. EACH COURSE IS 8 WEEKS LONG AND IS OFFERED TWICE IN A SEMESTER. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION WHEN REGISTERING! THE TRAVEL COURSES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR FINANCIAL AID.

Yes, students seeking to receive a certificate of achievement must score 80% or better on assignments and exams.
A certificate of achievement will be awarded to students who successfully complete the 14 required courses with a grade of 80% or better on assignments and exams. Students must contact the Program Coordinator to request the certificate upon completing program requirements.
This is not a licensed profession in the state of Utah. However, industry certifications are available to individuals who meet their criteria through various organization websites.
Drop rates for a full refund follow the academic calendar deadlines. However, if the drop date is after the deadline, the program coordinator will approve or deny any appeal. Please note, there is a $79.00 per course non-refundable fee (no exceptions).
