Department MeetingsDivision and Department meetings will be a key function of Convocation 2007. Department heads should read the following information carefully: Any exceptions to holding departmental meetings at this time will require prior approval from your Vice President. Department leaders are responsible for scheduling their own meeting space for their departmental meeting. If you would like to meet in the College Center, please contact Cheryl Sorenson. If you want to meet in a classroom building, please schedule your space through the Scheduling Office. Please notify us by Friday, August 17, where your meeting will be held and which groups will be included. Send your information to ‘Institutional Marketing’ via Outlook. The purpose for these departmental meetings is to allow each employee an opportunity to discuss the College goals and to relate specific department objectives to those goals. While there isn’t a hard and fast agenda for these discussions, the purpose for the dialogue is to give each member of the college community an opportunity to relate their own work to the goals of the College and to student success.
