Transfer from SLCC to Utah Four-Year Schools

Please see Academic and Career Advising to make sure your courses align with the institution to which you wish to transfer.

See the tables below to find out how SLCC CSIS courses will transfer to three major Utah four-year institutions.

(Note: For ease of transfer, CSIS 1400, 1410 and 2420 should be completed at the same institution.)

Weber State University Course Equivalents

SLCC has a partnership with Weber State University that allows our students to seamlessly transfer there with full completion of lower division credits.

Only lower-division CS/CIS/CSIS courses with a grade of C or better will be accepted at WSU. Support courses (Math, English, Physics) will be accepted with a grade of C- or better. Most of the courses listed below are prerequisites for upper division courses.

At SLCC, consider pursuing the CSIS AS degree with a Computer Science Fundamentals Certificate of Proficiency (CP) and Software Development Certificate of Proficiency (CP), or a General Studies AS degree.
