Community Writing Center

Join a Writing Group

Are you interested in joining a writing group? Our DiverseCity Writing Series (DWS) groups offer a unique writing experience. No matter your experience level or interests, the DWS can help you improve your writing process through feedback, writing prompts, and the encouragement of your fellow writers. You’ll also meet other writers from varying backgrounds and connect with people throughout the community at our reading events. Every year, you’ll have the opportunity to be published in the DWS anthology, sine cera. Most of our groups are open to any interested writer, and meet at least twice a month. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced writer, you’ll find a place in the DiverseCity Writing Series.

If you are interested in learning more about our DWS Writing Groups, call the Community Writing Center at (801) 957-2192 to speak with the DiverseCity Writing Series Coordinator.

The following DWS Groups are free and open to the public.
