Volunteer

Many of the CWC programs are supported by volunteers. Salt Lake area adults are encouraged to volunteer their time as a writing coach, a mentor in the DiverseCity Writing Series, or simply in response to monthly “calls for volunteers.”

All volunteers are thoroughly trained to accomplish their goals as they fit with the mission of the CWC. Volunteers will be asked to fill out a Volunteer Application form to determine strengths, interests, training needs and availability.

Call the Community Writing Center at (801) 957-4992 or email the CWC at cwc@slcc.edu for more information about how to become involved.

If you are ready to get involved, fill out our volunteer application (either directly online or by printing it out) and plan to attend our volunteer orientation.
