Instruction is designed to assist students who want to improve their reading, writing, and/or math skills before entering vocational training. Faculty work with students on an individual basis using a variety of instructional materials to help them achieve the desired skill level.
Most work can be applied toward high school completion/diploma if the student is registered in adult education through their school district. Computer-assisted instruction is also provided through the Skills Center Integrated Learning (SCIL) Lab and is designed to supplement classroom activities. Instruction is geared to meet the needs of the most elementary level adults through high school/college reading, writing, and math skills.
