SALT LAKE COMMUNITY COLLEGE DEVELOPMENT OFFICE
As the only comprehensive community college in Utah, Salt Lake Community College provides unique ways for education to connect with business, industry, and the community. The Development Office coordinates all fundraising activities for the College and is responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with donors.
• Private Donations
The Development Office represents the SLCC Foundation, the 501(c)(3) organization officially designated to receive private donations to the College, in accepting donations from businesses, corporations, foundations, and individuals.
• Public Funding
The Development Office works closely with SLCC faculty and staff to identify grant opportunities for programs to make our students competitive in a rapidly changing economy. The Development Office facilitates the grant writing process and has responsibility for proposal review and submission.
• Donor Relations
SLCC is grateful for the dedication and generosity of donors who answer the call to give. The Development Office values partnerships with those who share our commitment to preparing students for the future. The Development Office staff stewards relationships with donors so the experience of giving to SLCC is gratifying.
• SLCC Alumni Association
The Development Office coordinates activities of the SLCC Alumni Association, and is committed to maintaining strong ties with graduates by offering ongoing professional, educational, service, and social opportunities.
• South High Alumni Association
The South High Alumni Association enjoys a unique relationship with SLCC, connecting the legacy of the past with the promise of the future by offering SLCC scholarships to descendants of South High Alumni.

Mission
The SLCC Development Office assists the College in responding to a rapidly changing economy. Development Office activities increase external awareness and involvement; identify resources for innovative academic programs and student support; steward donations from alumni, friends, supporters, and grantors; and promote strong relationships.
