Health Sciences Center

Utah is facing a health care crisis. The nursing shortage is the second greatest in the Intermountain West. Please consider helping us in our effort to solve this need.

A state-of-the-arts Health Sciences Center was recently completed at the Jordan Campus. This new Center makes it possible to locate all SLCC Allied Health and Nursing programs on one campus, providing easy access for students.

This center not only increases the number of health care professional graduates by a minimum of 360 each year, but also shortens the long waiting lists to enter health care programs.

SLCC’s Health Sciences Center includes training for registered nursing, occupational and physical therapy assistants, surgical assistants, medical assistants, radiologic technicians, biotechnology technicians, pharmacy technicians and medical lab technicians.
