Food Services Catering Guidliness

                 Here at Redwood Dining Services our goal is your total satisfaction.  To this end we have created this list of guidelines to help ensure that we are able to deliver the service you expect.  Looking for our menu? Review our menu here.

Room Reservations should be made at least 10 business days prior to your event by calling the appropriate Campus Scheduling Office.

Food Service Reservations. Please call our Catering office for assistance in placing your order. For best results reservations should be made no later than 5 business days before your event.  Please call during business hours.   To ensure the success of your event if you need custom menus or guest counts of 250 or more please allow at least 15 business days for proper planning.  Even if your event is tentative contact us so we can make arrangements.

To assist in planning your event, be prepared with the following information: date of your event, campus location, number of guests, menu selections, budget, payment method, and type of service (reception, served banquet, buffet, take-out, etc.).

 

E-mail confirmation of your reservation will be sent to you by the Catering Office within 3 business days.  Please respond with your approval as soon as possible. This will be your confirmation of the order so please review it carefully.

 

Last Minute Orders: Orders placed within 3 business days of the scheduled event are considered last minute.  We will make every effort to accommodate your needs based on the inventory currently on hand and the availability of staff.

 

Payment: is based on the customers guaranteed guest count or the number actually served whichever is greater. To help us be prepared, the count should be received at least 3 business days prior to the event. Payment is due at the conclusion of the event.

 

Delivery is available. We will deliver your order to all Salt Lake Community College Campuses.

 

Cancellations of catered reservations are accepted at no charge no later than 3 business days prior to scheduled event.  In the event that cancellations occur within the 3 business days prior to your event.  There may be charges assessed based on preparation of ordered food and or service.

 

Exclusive Food Provider. The Health and Safety of our Faculty, Staff and Students is our highest priority. SLCC Food Service is here to serve as a College Auxiliary. Please note that no outside catered, donated or purchased food may be brought or served on any Campus or Site without written permission of SLCC Food Services Management.

 

Groups under 15 people will be accommodated. If you have a party that has a customer count of 15 people or less we recommend our great range of plated meals to accommodate this type of event, buffet service is not recommended for small groups.

 

Will Call Food Orders are available, see Food Service Will Call Menu. Please note - No service fee is charged for pick-up orders. 
You are responsible for cleaning up after your event.  Failure to do so may result in additional charges of $30.00 per employee hour for our staff to do the cleaning.
