SLCC Food Service Catering Guidelines
The following information is provided to assist our guests when planning events using our Catering Services. You may review our menu at www.slcc.edu/dining services
1) Room Reservations should be made at least 10 business days prior to your event by calling the appropriate Campus Scheduling Office.

2) Food Service Reservations. Please call our Catering office for assistance in placing your order. Reservations should be made no later than 5 business days before your event.

3) To assist in planning your event, be prepared with the following information: date of your event, campus location, number of guests, menu options, payment method, and type of service (reception, served banquet, buffet, take-out, etc.).
4) E-mail confirmation of your reservation will be sent to you by the Catering Office within 2 business days. Please respond with your approval as soon as possible. This will be your confirmation of the order so review it carefully. Please note – prices may be subject to change until confirmation is received.
5) Changes to your reservation may be made at no charge if received by the Catering Office no later than 2 business days prior to your event.
6) Late Orders are accepted. Orders placed within 2 business days of the scheduled event are considered late. Food Service will make every effort to accommodate your needs based on the supplies currently on hand and the availability of staff. Please note- late orders will be accessed a 25% additional charge.
7) Payment is based on the customers guaranteed guest count. That count must be received no later than 2 business days prior to the event. Payment is due at the conclusion of the event.
8) Delivery is available. We will deliver your order to all areas of the campuses that have a Food Service operation.
9) Cancellations of your catered reservations are accepted at no charge no later than 2 business days prior to scheduled event.
10) Exclusive Food Provider. Health and Safety of our faculty, Staff and Students is our highest priority as well as SLCC Food Service is here to serve as a College Auxiliary. Please note that no outside catered, donated or purchased food may be brought or served on any Campus or Site without written permission of SLCC Food Services Management.
11) Unused Food or Leftovers can be dangerous if they are not stored or handled properly. Therefore all food that remains after an event is the property of Salt Lake Community College Food Service. Health and safety are our number one priority.
