Mission Statement

To Unite all Pacific Islanders attending SLCC, as well as invite and educate those who desire to learn about our culture.We will continually strive to perpetuate, strengthen and enhance our culture and heritage by sharing, honoring and embracing our ancestors through traditional song, dance and story-telling.Through our education at SLCC, we will rise to our fullest potential and actively seek to benefit our students, the community-at-large, and the institution through service projects, activities and special events.We will constantly seek to learn, grow and develop our club and its members in the present time as well as for the future, in advancing the PUA clubs mission and vision.

Welcome to SLCC!!

My name is Tevita Hola and I am the Asian and Pacific Islander Coordinator here at Salt Lake Community College. My job as your Student Success Coordinator is to provide SUPPORT in any circumstances that you may be in.

I just saw that you enrolled to SLCC not too long ago. I would like to personally invite you to come and see me if you have any questions with regards to registration, classes, majors, etc. I can assist you in programming and get you to one of our awesome advisor that would love to sit down with you and help get started and completed at your own time and pace.

I know the pressures that come from balancing school, work, and home life. Please feel free to come in and let US get to know you, my hours are from 10am-7pm Monday | Tuesday’s and 8am-4:30pm|Wednesday through Friday from 8am-4:30pm.
