Testing Information

The DRC provides reasonable accommodations as authorized by your Accessibility Advisor, to ensure equal access on tests and exams. If you have questions related to your testing accommodations, please contact the DRC office on your campus.

Accommodated testing locations vary depending on campus and accommodation type. Refer to your emailed Letter of Accommodation for the appropriate testing location.

Online Testing

Students with extended time and online testing accommodations may utilize the Instructional Testing Center (ITC) for proctored tests and quizzes.

Please note that the ITC can only proctor extended time accommodations. If you have additional testing accommodations please review your emailed accommodation letter or contact the DRC.

Minimal Distraction and Other Testing Accommodations

If you have a “Minimal Distraction” testing accommodation and your class is held at the Taylorsville Redwood, South City or Larry H. Miller campus tests need to be scheduled at least two business days in advance.

If you have a minimal distraction testing accommodation and your class is held at the Taylorsville Redwood, Jordan or West Valley Center campus your tests will be accommodated through Testing Services. Tests at Taylorsville Redwood will still need to be scheduled through Accommodate, questions may be directed to the DRC test proctors at 801-957-4833.

Time Frame: Same Day Testing

Tests will be taken on the same day as the class unless otherwise authorized by the instructor. The instructor will need to notify the appropriate testing staff if an exception is made.
