Articulation

An Articulation Agreement exists between the Skills Center Electronics Program and the Electronics and Instrumentation Technology Department at the college.  You may be able to transfer most Skills Center Program courses for credit towards an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.  Depending on the program you are enrolled in (Electronics Assembly Technician. Electromechanical Assembly Technician,  or Electronics Technician) and the electives you choose, you may be able to transfer enough courses to fulfill up to about one third of the requirements for the AAS degree and nearly one half of the technical courses.  You still must complete the general education requirements and the remaining technical courses.  Your instructor can give you more details and you may wish to discuss the articulation transfer agreement with the Electronics and Instrumentation Technology Department Coordinator.
