What is Emergency Management?
Salt Lake Community College Emergency Management has a primary purpose of increasing the capabilities for the college to prepare and respond to hazards that have the potential to effect the campuses across the valley, as well as coordinate with local jurisdictions to create a strong connection between the college and the surrounding communities in terms of emergency response. Some of our duties include developing and implementing emergency plans and sending out emergency alert messages.
