Justin is an assistant professor of English and has been teaching at the college level since 2007. Before joining the faculty at SLCC, he taught introductory composition courses at Colorado State University and Pikes Peak Community College. He also taught introductory and advanced courses in rhetoric and writing and professional and technical writing at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, where he worked as a full-time instructor, assistant writing program administrator, and technology support specialist for four years.
His teaching and research interests are in writing studies, rhetorical theory and criticism, and program and curriculum design. His scholarly work is forthcoming in 2015 and will be published in Literacy in Composition Studies, a peer-reviewed journal in writing studies, and in a peer-reviewed edited collection titled Contingency, Solidarity, and Exploitation: Labor and Action in English Composition.
