Certifications and Verifications
A SLCC department, division, or School may award a Certificate to students completing particular courses or sequences of courses. The Certificate indicates a stand-alone specialization and certifies mastery or competency in the specific course(s) taken. These certificate programs are not financial-aid eligible and, by themselves, do not lead to graduation.
School of Applied Technology students who receive a Certificate also receive a competency transcript for any course or program completed.
To obtain a copy of a certificate please contact the department, division, or School which awarded the certificate. If you are unsure of the correct department please call the Contact Center at (801) 957-4297 to be directed appropriately.
Salt Lake Community College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as it’s agent for Enrollment Degree and Past Attendance Verifications. Colleges and other institutions requesting verifications can get started by clicking Here. Alternatively, students requesting verifications can fax a completed Verification Request Form to SLCC at (801) 957-4961.
