SID (Student Identification number)

SID's are nine digit numbers beginning with a capital 'S'.  SID's are used by SLCC in place of a Social Security Number (SSN).  By using an SID instead of an SSN, SLCC provides another level of security to help protect you from identity theft.

Your SID is provided on your One Card ID.

Students also receive their SID in their enrollment acceptance letters.

Students: If you do not have your SID, bring photo identification to any One Card ID center or Enrollment Services office to obtain your SID. If you need your One Card, you must be successfully registered for classes before you can obtain it from the One Card ID center.

Employees: If you do not have your SID, bring your photo identification to any One Card ID center or contact your supervisor or division office for assistance.
