Facilities Interior Design Services provides complete planning and design services related to interior design improvements of existing facilities for all SLCC campuses and new buildings. These services include the selection of office furniture, upholstery, paint, floor coverings and window coverings. Space planning is available to assure that new furniture fits well within the space allowed and that ADA standards are met. Every effort is made to ensure that new furniture purchases stay within the end users budget, are a good value, have an excellent warranty, meet college standards and are delivered and set-up in a timely manner.
All furniture purchased through Facilities Interior Design Services has a full 10 year warranty. Should you experience any type of problem with your furniture or chairs please contact Susan Valentine at 801-957-4591. If the furniture item is under warranty (less than 10 years old) a repairman will be sent out at no charge. If for any reason the furniture cannot be repaired it will be replaced.
Interior Design Services also has a small inventory of used furniture that we keep on hand. If you have furniture that is no longer needed in your department DO NOT send it to Surplus. Please send an e-mail to FIX IT and ask for the furniture to be picked up. The Facilities Utilities crew will pick it up, assess the condition and determine if it can be reused or recycled.
