Utilities Department

The primary function of the Utilities Department is to move, repair and store furniture.  The supervisor receives work requests through the Customer Service Fix It system where he organizes daily activities.  Office moves require him to work closely with our Interior Designer and Master Planner to ensure timely and effective synchronization of each move takes place with as little disruption as possible.   The crew is also responsible for event set-ups and tear-downs such as athletic events, graduations, and many special events and activities SLCC hosts at all campuses.  Snow removal is a further duty of the Utility Crew.
