Focused Tutoring!

Focused Tutoring provides

• Free, one-to-one and small group tutoring to enrolled SLCC students
• On-going, weekly appointments with the same tutor throughout the semester
• Referrals to other tutoring and learning services as well as study skills programs on campus

Students in the program make a commitment to meet at least once a week throughout the semester with their assigned tutor.

Tutoring is usually available in Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and CIS, depending on available tutors and their expertise. Tutoring in other subjects may be available depending on tutor staff.

NOTE:

We will begin accepting Tutor Request forms for Spring 2009 on
January 5th,
one week before school starts.

Tutor Requests turned in before that time will be returned or discarded.
