Established in 1983, the Salt Lake Community College Foundation’s key purposes include:

  • Generating and receiving community charitable contributions
  • Providing grants and scholarships to educational and community programs of the College, and
  • Promoting broad community recognition and support.

The Foundation’s Board members and Development Office staff are dedicated to meeting the needs of the students through careful stewardship of donations and reaching out to the community for support.

The SLCC Foundation is the 501(c)(3) organization officially designated to receive private donations to the College from corporations, foundations and community individuals.

College Strategic Fundraising Priorities

Center for New Media1. Center for Arts and Media

SLCC's $45 million Center for Arts and Media at the South City Campus will house the College's performing, visual and digital arts programs. Sponsorships for the Community Gallery, Virtual Reality Room, Grand Theatre renovations and equipment are available. 
Project goal: $5 Million

Students Image2. Project PACE

(Partnerships for Accessing College Education) ) joins SLCC, local high schools and area businesses. The scholarship endowment will fund PACE students who have completed a rigorous course of high school study to continue their education at SLCC. 
Project goal: $600,000

Herriman Campus3. Herriman Campus

SLCC has purchased land on which the National Institute for Advanced Energy Training will be constructed. Sponsorship and donations for facility and equipment needs have been identified through a comprehensive master planning process.
Project goal: $15 Million
