A positive and inspiring learning environment can transform the student experience. Our goal is to create spaces, new and renewed, that motivate our students, faculty and community partners.
Herriman Campus
SLCC and the University of Utah are bringing a new campus to Herriman. Opening in 2023, the Herriman Campus will provide students with the extraordinary opportunity to earn their associate's degree from SLCC and their bachelor's degree from the U all in one location. Donor support will augment needed building equipment and educational programming.
The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Business Building
With world-class faculty and instructional innovations as hallmarks, business is the second-largest degree program at SLCC. Our current Business Building opened its doors in 1986 but is no longer an adequate space to train tomorrow's business leaders. With a generous gift from the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation, SLCC plans to remake the building into a state-of-the-art learning facility for Utah's future business leaders. Even with this generous gift, we are still pursuing support to fund building construction and academic programming.
Student Housing
The cost of rent in Salt Lake County is a tremendous barrier to education. On-site housing on our Taylorsville Redwood Campus will help remove this obstacle and encourage students to persist in their studies. While rent for our dorms will be reasonable, many students will still struggle to afford the cost. Donations will provide rental assistance and scholarships to those in need.
