Today, video is transitioning from standard definition (SD) NTSC to newer high definition (HD) formats, creating a number of new size, aspect and frame rate possibilities for HD projects. Institutional Marketing & Communications Video Production (IM&C) now has HD production capability and can output to Blu-Ray (MPEG2 or H.264) or DVD and to digital formats including: P2 MXF, Windows Media, RealMedia, Quicktime, Adobe Flash Video. Our common shooting/editing format is 1280x720 at 23.976 frames-per-second progressive. IM&C Video Production has a complete HD workflow for medium-size venue video projection, taking HD media from acquisition/ingest to output via Sony Blu-Ray player to a 3000-lumen Sanyo PLV-80 HDTV projector. For smaller meeting rooms and trade shows we output from Blu-Ray to a 32-inch HDTV. Please see our Client Information link for information about using IM&C Video Production services.
