Our Goals
- Provide a challenging and exciting training environment for high school and college interns
- Provide optimal access to all interns to increase success in their career path
- Provide quality research services to contract company partners in a directed and timely fashion
- Contribute to economic and workforce development for the State of Utah
Management Team
Our laboratory is managed by two PhD scientists, a project manager and a business team. Our start-up funding was provided by the National Science Foundation and our current corporate partners are ZARS, Spendlove Research, Sorensen Genomics, Pharmanex, Lifespan Technologies and ACME Biomedical.

Financial Information
InnovaBio received federal funding from the national Science Foundation for three years (July 2004-July 2007). These grant funds support salaries, consumables and capital equipment purchases as follows for the three year funding period:
- Year 1
100% salaries, consumables and equipment purchases
- Year 2
50% salaries, consumables (50% of salaries will be provided by SLCC and 50% of the consumables will be contributed by the partner contract companies)
- Year 3
100% of salary support shifts to InnovaBio; contract companies provide 100% of consumables
