I decided to attend SLCC on the recommendation of friends. You will feel at home in Salt Lake City, people are very friendly. SLCC is a great school! It sits in the middle of the city, its programs are very unique and the quality of education is extraordinary. The International Student Services are very helpful in any way possible. Because SLCC is a great school, I will recommend as well as give a “thumbs up” approval. SLCC helped in the development of my knowledge of International Studies. I will continue my education at University of Utah, with the beautiful mountains and wonderful people of Utah. I wish that every Rwandan could find their way to SLCC.![]()

SLCC was a good choice! I was given all the support I needed to achieve my goals. I would like to thank everybody in the International Student Services especially Elizete the academic adviser and Nancy the director of ISS. The support I received really helped me make it through the Pharmacy Tech program and to be a successful student. I definitely recommend SLCC to all International students.![]()

Time flies! I am graduating this spring with my associate degree in business. I have been at SLCC for the past two years and I have been growing and learning thanks to the school. Studying here and working on campus, I have spent a greater part of my time on campus and I’ve been enjoying every moment I am here. Sometimes the midterms and finals can be stressful and I’m grateful for the faculty, staff and friends who helped me and deeply touch my heart and soul.
I am glad I chose SLCC for my higher education studies. It has been a pleasant experience for me. I love how the SLCC faculty and staff truly care about you and will try their best to help you succeed. I enjoy the close relationships between the professors and the students. Because the class sizes are smaller, your professor interaction is greatly increased. I love the many campuses of SLCC which gives more options to help you achieve your goals. I personally love the free tutoring and the open labs offered through SLCC. Not forgetting our friendly International Student Services office staff, they are always there to offer help and genuinely care about your success.
Going to nursing school is my next step. I am looking forward to studying the nursing program at the SLCC Jordan Campus. The small student to faculty ratio and the sense of a small family community make SLCC a wonderful place to obtain your educational goals. Always set your priorities, by figuring out what is most important, you can set a plan and achieve your goals. If you are ready for a challenge, ready to work hard and looking for great opportunities with lots of fun, SLCC is the right place for you!![]()

Before I decided to attend SLCC I had done some research, and I discovered that I would receive a quality education on a large campus offering many degree options. The people here are friendly and great to work with. A class assignment required team, work and because there was good communication, and we enjoyed working together, the presentation was a success! I love the snow and the fact that Alta (ski resort) is only an hour drive. I will continue my education at Ohio State University majoring in marketing but I am so glad I got such a great start at SLCC. I had such a good experience at SLCC that I am giving a presentation to my former high school to let the graduating students know what a wonderful education you will receive at SLCC.

First of all, Salt lake community college has a great location. Fourteen different campuses and the bus route to most of them. Education is affordable especially compared to other Utah Colleges. People at International Student Services are very friendly and very cooperative. I chose SLCC for the great location and transportation but the education you receive is awesome. I believe that the high quality of education I received was due to small classes and both teachers and peers willing to help.
