Applying While on a Visa Other Than F-1 / M-1
Application
- Submit the online International Student application.
- Pay the $75.00 non-refundable application fee.
Documentation
After completing your online application, please submit the following documents using one of the methods listed:
- Upload the documents with your SLCC online application
- Scan and email the documents as PDF attachments in one complete packet to international.affairs@slcc.edu
- Mail documents (N.B. sending documents by mail could delay the processing of your application)

Faxed documents will not be accepted.
Your application documents will be evaluated once all of them have been received. Incomplete applications will NOT be accepted for evaluation. An SLCC acceptance letter will be issued after all required documents have been received and evaluated by the above deadlines.
1. Official Proof of High School Graduation
SLCC International Admissions policy requires official proof demonstrating completion of secondary education equivalent to a U.S. academic high school diploma. English translations may be required.
2. Travel Documents
- Provide a copy of the main passport page including:
- Name
- Photo
- Passport expiration date
- Provide copy of visa and I-94.
English Proficiency
It is not necessary to take the TOEFL or any other English proficiency exam to be admitted to Salt Lake Community College (SLCC). All students are required to go through a placement process upon arrival at SLCC.
