Salt Lake City, Utah’s capital is surrounded by the Wasatch and Oquirrh Mountains, located 24 km east of the Great Salt Lake, the world’s second largest body of salt water (second to the Dead Sea). College for the World’s Community

Salt Lake Community College provides students the opportunity to start with English as a second language, continue in a two-year associate of arts or science degree then transfer to a four-year university to earn a bachelor’s degree. SLCC educates and trains students for today’s most critical fields awarding more Associate degrees and certificates than any other Utah institution.

Technical and vocational programs prepare students for employment. Internships, on-the-job training, apprenticeships, and entrepreneurial support at Salt Lake Community College helps students gain access to critical services

A Global Purpose

International Student Services (ISS) is the support center for international students offering resources to assist successful academic careers and social experiences while in the USA.

ISS provides information on issues important to international students: international admissions, pre-arrival information, visa and foreign student advising, orientation, placement testing and academic advising, employment, social and cultural adjustment and intercultural programs.
