The mission of the SLCC Learning Center Programs is to provide FREE tutorial services to students enrolled in various courses offered by the college in order to promote student success. We strive to help our students to build confidence, defeat anxieties, and develop a greater appreciation for education and learning.
We Offer:
- Math & Sciences (walk-in tutoring)
- Learning Commons (beginning math 0900-0990)
- Online Tutoring
- Math Final Reviews
- Focused Tutoring (one-on-one tutoring)
- Tutor Training
- Learning Support and Tutoring Services
Related Services:
- Academic Literacy Center (walk-in tutoring for international students)
- Writing Center (free, in-person and online writing advising for all SLCC students enrolled in any class)
- Science Resource Center (free tutoring in biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and geosciences)
