LGBT Resource Center
It takes no compromise to give people their rights...it takes no money to respect the individual. It takes no political deal to give people freedom. It takes no survey to remove repression.
The mission of the LGBT Resource Center is to enhance the quality of life of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning SLCC students, faculty, and staff in an environment that is welcoming, positive, and safe, by increasing the SLCC community's awareness, understanding, and inclusion of its lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning members.
We will achieve this mission by providing:
- resources to LGBT students, staff, and faculty
- resources to straight allies
- education on the terminology, the history, and the current issues effecting the LGBT community
- Safe Zone training to faculty, staff, and student organizations
Any and all questions can be sent to SafeZone@slcc.edu. We will respond as soon as we can!
