The Barbering, Cosmetology and Esthetics programs are now closed. Below are some answers to questions you may have regarding what happens next with your educational pathway.
1. How can I find out what classes I have remaining for the Barbering/Cosmetology AAS degree or certificate of completion?

2. How many hours (clock hours) have I completed?

3. Will I be able to finish the general education courses required for the degree after the teach-out is completed? Who will verify I have completed the program and release my clock hours once I have completed the AAS degree, diploma or certification of completion?
Yes. Due to licensure requirements, the AAS degree, diploma and certificate of completion will be granted up to five years after 2014. After the program closure, please contact the Dean of Technical Specialties' office at (801) 957-5129.
4. Will new students be admitted?
No. Admissions to the Barbering, Cosmetology and Esthetics program will no longer be taken.
