Teaching Philosophy:

Students learn by doing not by me showing.   Students learn best when they first read the material in the book and try the problems. I believe in group work.  Two to four heads are always better than one. If you cannot do a problem, ask a peer. I expect all my students to come to class prepared and ready to learn.  If a student gets stuck on something, I give a hint to get them unstuck.  I don’t want my students to spin their wheels, but I won’t give the solution.  It is my goal to get my students thinking in the right direction.
