Salt Lake Community College Medical Assistant program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon the recommendation of the Curriculum Review Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants Endowment (AAMAE).
Graduates of the program at SLCC are prepared to sit for and successfully pass both the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) national certification exam administered by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), and the Licensed Radiologic Practical Technician (LRPT) exam administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). They are of immediate value to the physician/provider, specialty clinics, urgent care facilities, hospitals and multi-specialty health maintenance facilities.
