| A cooperative program between SLCC and the Department of Pathology at the University of Utah. General course requirements are offered at SLCC during the first year of the program. Second year, professional course requirements are provided at the University of Utah by Department of Pathology faculty. The MLT Program is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS), 8410 West Bryn Mawr, Suite 670, Chicago, IL. 60631-3415. Placement testing will be required to complete the matriculation process and to assign placement into the appropriate mathematics and English classes. Students must apply for the MLT Program by completing an application with the Health Science Admissions Specialist. Courses that must be completed with a minimum grade of C prior to program admission are: MLT 1010 MLT 1700 Math 1010 Bio 1170/1180 Bio 2100/2110 Chem 1110/1130 Chem 1120/1140 Admission to the professional component of the program is for Fall semester only each year. |
