To locate these offices in the Jordan Health Science building; enter the building through the main entrance on the North, take the elevator to floor 1, walk across the Atrium to the large staircase, enter the hallway across from the staircase to the South – the first office on your right is the Academic Advising and Health Science Admissions offices.


Attention Nursing Students: The Health Science Enrollment Services will be accepting applications into the Nursing Program during the following dates:

December 18, 2008 to January 9, 2009

If you are finishing up your pre-requisites during the Fall, turn in your application during the dates stated above. The Health Science Enrollment Services will not process the applications until all final grades are posted. Division of Nursing Application form.

The Health Science Enrollment Services will NOT accept the application at any other time. Please be aware, if you turn in your application before or after these dates, your application will NOT be considered for enrollment into the program and it WILL be sent back to you!

If you have transfer courses that need to be evaluated by our incoming transcript office, please make sure to complete a request for evaluation of transfer courses to request that they are evaluated specifically for the Nursing program.  Otherwise, they will only be evaluated for General Education courses.


Important Information


  • The math department is implementing a Math 1025 review course (for Math 1020).  The course is not required for admissions, but is an option for students who need a review.  The Math review in Pharmacology will be offered Fall 2008 MW LAC 120 1-1:50 PM Shane Tang is the instructor.
  • As of the 2008/2009 SLCC Academic Catalog (July 2008) the Nursing Program at SLCC will no longer accept FHS 1500 Human Development/Lifespan, students must take PSY 1100, Human Growth and Development.

  • Notice to all Nursing Students:
    As of Summer 2008, there will be a $25 Lab fee attached to the following courses:
    1355, 1405, 1505, 1705, 2205, 2405
