To locate these offices in the Jordan Health Science building; enter the building through the main entrance on the North, take the elevator to floor 0, walk across the Atrium to the large staircase, enter the hallway across from the staircase to the South – the first office on your right is the Academic Advising and Health Science Admissions offices.


Attention Nursing Students: Please visit the Health Science Admissions website for the dates that they will be accepting applications and for access to the application.

Apply during the dates that more closely responds to the final completion of your prerequisite courses. 

The Health Science Enrollment Services will not process the applications until all final grades are posted and will NOT accept applications outside of the dates listed above. 

Please be aware, if you turn in your application before or after these dates, your application will NOT be considered for enrollment into the program and it WILL be sent back to you!

If you have transfer courses that need to be evaluated by our incoming transcript office, please make sure to complete a request for evaluation of transfer courses to request that they are evaluated specifically for the Nursing program.  Otherwise, they will only be evaluated for General Education courses.

  • The math department has implemented Math 1025 - Math Review for Pharmacology to refresh the students on techniques learned in Math 1020.  The course is not required for admissions, but is an option for students who need or want a review. 
  • As of the 2008/2009 SLCC Academic Catalog (July 2008) the Nursing Program at SLCC will no longer accept FHS 1500 Human Development/Lifespan, students must take PSY 1100, Human Growth and Development.  Acceptable transfer courses must be taken from the Psychology or Nursing departments only, no others are accepted.
  • Notice to all Nursing Students:
    As of Summer 2008, a $25 Lab fee has been attached to the following Nursing courses:
    1355, 1405, 1505, 1705, 2205, 2405
