As an SLCC student, you have access to an array of technical support resources and services.

Most SLCC Online courses require in-person exam proctoring. However, for those living outside Salt Lake Valley, remote proctoring services are available. See Instructional Testing to make test reservations, review testing center policies, secure test proctors, and more.

Online tutoring is available for a number of subject areas, including business, computer and technology, math, science, and history.

Accessing online tutoring is easy. Just log in to Canvas. Click on a course and 'Online Tutoring’ will be available in the left navigation column. Click on that link and then simply “Launch Brainfuse”.

Online tutoring is single sign on, so once you’re in Canvas, you won’t need to sign in again to access Online Tutoring.

In addition, in-person tutoring and learning support is also available at one of the Tutoring Resource Centers. All tutoring services provided by SLCC are available free of charge to admitted students.

Ordering textbooks and other materials is easy. After checking your course Syllabus or Canvas for the books you need, you can order them from the SLCC College Bookstore. You can also order books from your local textbook store or through online book sellers.

SLCC Online partners with the Disability Resource Center (DRC) in making available the needed services and resources for students with disabilities.

The DRC can provide you with a variety of individualized accommodations and resources, including applying for admission, classroom-related assignments, campus event access, and more.

In partnership with SLCC Libraries, SLCC Online provides dedicated library services for students in online courses. We are your virtual source for guidance and instruction with research, citations, copyright, and other library-related topics.

Librarians also serve as the go-to resource for online faculty and instructional designers, collaborating to provide research and content creation for online courses with a focus in enhancing curriculum, engaging students, and promoting open educational resources (OER) to support student success.

An SLCC Onecard is required to use the materials in the library, to check in for testing appointments, and for many other college activities. You may obtain an SLCC OneCard at any campus.
