ATTENTION ALL USERS

As of February 15, 2008, all members of the SLCC community were required to change their passwords.

If you haven’t changed your password, you will not be able to log into MyPage, Banner, or Vista.

Notice to MSN Explorer users:

If you get disconnected after logging into MyPage with an error message indicating  “Session Expired” or “Timed Out” message, please attempt the following solution: 

  1. Minimize the MSN browser window.
  2. Launch Internet Explorer (blue e icon) either from the Desktop or All Programs.
  3. Put www.slcc.edu in the address space.
  4. Log into MyPage again.

If this still doesn’t solve the issue, you may call the Technology Help Desk at 801-957-5555.

Windows browser patches for MyPage

Salt Lake Community College is concerned with the safety and security of your personal information, such as your social security number, credit card numbers, home address, phone, etc.  To ensure that this information is not intercepted by unauthorized personnel, we scramble the data between our server and your browser in such a way as to make the data unreadable by any other system.   This scrambling of data, called encryption, is a standard way to protect information delivered through the Internet.   The MyPage system uses the maximum encryption protection available, to ensure that your personal data is protected to the maximum extent possible.   This protection, however, may render older browsers unable to view the MyPage login page, as some older browsers may not be able to decrypt the information from our server. For this we offer the following solutions:

  • For Windows 95/98/NT users click HERE and select the appropriate high encryption patch for your OS.
  • For Windows 2000 users click HERE to download and install service pack 3,
  • For Windows XP users click HERE to download service pack 1

If you cannot install updated software on the computer you are using (corporate policies, inadequate hardware, etc.), please feel free to visit the Redwood, South, Millcreek , Jordan or Sandy locations to login to MyPage on our open student use computers.

Attention:  It is best to have the newest up-to-date browsers, ex. Internet Explorer 6, and Netscape 7,  they are free for download at Microsoft.com , and Netscape.com

Note:  It takes time to create and activate your MyPage account. If you try to log in using the given Username and Password and get the message “ERROR: username/password pair not found” please try again in 24 hours. If it has been more than 48 hours since your application for admission to Salt Lake Community College has been processed, please call the Help Desk at 957-5555 for assistance.
